We pride ourselves on our commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction, and we're looking for a skilled and professional Security Systems Service Technician to join our team.

Job Overview:
As a Security Systems Service Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of security systems for our clients, including access control, CCTV, alarm systems, intercom systems, and more. Your work will primarily involve visiting client locations across the New York Metro Area, but you will also provide remote troubleshooting and support over the phone when needed. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, professionalism, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and Repair Security Systems: Diagnose and repair issues with security systems, including access control, cameras, alarm systems, and intercoms.
  • Client Interaction: Communicate with clients both in-person and remotely, providing excellent customer service during service calls.
  • Service Documentation: Complete and submit accurate service tickets documenting the details of each service call, including the issue, resolution, and parts used.
  • Remote Support: Provide troubleshooting support over the phone or via remote connection when on-site visits are not required.
  • System Installation and Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and installations of security systems as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with manufacturers and other team members to resolve system issues efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in servicing security systems (access control, CCTV, alarm systems, intercoms).
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of security system components, including wiring, cameras, control panels, and related technologies.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to explain technical issues to clients in a clear and professional manner.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly diagnose issues and provide solutions in a timely manner.
  • Attention to Detail: Complete service tickets with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Tools and Equipment: Familiarity with standard tools used in security system installation and repair.
  • Valid Driver’s License: A clean driving record and the ability to drive a company van for client visits.
  • Site Safety Training (SST) Card:  SST Card is required
  • Professional Demeanor: Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude when working with clients and colleagues.

We’re currently seeking an experienced Foreman to oversee the installation of security systems and manage a team of onsite technicians. As a Foreman, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are completed efficiently and effectively while maintaining a high standard of work.


Job Overview:
The Foreman will be responsible for the overall management of security system installation projects, ensuring work is completed on time and to specification. You will oversee a team of technicians on job sites, coordinate with other trades, and provide updates to the project manager regarding site conditions, progress, and any necessary changes. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure smooth project execution.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Management: Oversee the installation of security systems (e.g., access control, CCTV, alarm systems) on job sites, ensuring all work is completed to specifications and on schedule.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and manage onsite technicians, ensuring they follow project timelines, safety protocols, and installation best practices.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between onsite technicians, other trades on the job site, and the project manager. Ensure that any site conditions, progress, or required changes are communicated effectively to all stakeholders.
  • Time Management: Ensure technicians are entering accurate time logs for each day on the job site and track the time and progress of each task.
  • Job Site Setup: Set up the job site each day, ensuring that tools, equipment, and materials are ready for the team to begin work.
  • Site Visits and Support: You may be required to visit multiple job sites each day to review conditions, assist with installations, and ensure the quality and progress of ongoing work.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all installations meet quality standards and that the job site is clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in security system installation, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage, mentor, and motivate a team of technicians on job sites.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with technicians, project managers, and other trades effectively.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and teams while ensuring quality and safety on all job sites.
  • Problem-Solving: Capable of resolving issues on-site promptly, including working with other trades to address challenges as they arise.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of security system components and installation practices.
  • Safety Awareness: Knowledge of and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment, including compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations.
  • Valid Driver’s License: A clean driving record, with the ability to drive to various job sites across the New York Metro Area.
  • Site Safety Training (SST) Card:  SST Card is required

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry tools and equipment, as well as work in varying physical conditions (e.g., climbing ladders, working in tight spaces).
